Here’s a comforting recipe called Autumn Rejuvenation
It’s a warming, immunity-boosting tonic that’s easy to make and inexpensive:

  • 3 cups spring water
  • 1 tablespoon ginger root chopped finely
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste (paste, not broth)
  • 1-2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 1-2 pinches cayenne pepper
  • 1-2 teaspoons olive oil
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • Chopped cilantro to taste

Bring water to a low boil; simmer ginger about 10 minutes; add miso paste. Turn off the stove; add onion, cayenne pepper, lemon and cilantro. Cover, steep about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
